Somatic Coaching & Healing is a body-centered approach to mental health that focuses on the connection between the mind and body to release trapped physical tension and emotional trauma. It centers on unlocking new ways of being by helping you move away from anticipation of the future or anxiety from the past by grounding fully into the present, guiding you toward a deeper, more embodied expression of who you truly are.

Somatics invites you to tap into the unique genius, beauty, ancestral epigenetic memory, and power that already exists within you and your body, a type of wisdom that often gets buried under survival mode, old stories, or systems that ask us to shrink.

What makes this work especially effective and impactful is that it’s not just about behavior change — it’s about who you are at your core. And when we begin there by inquiring and befriending the sensations in our body rather than dismissing and numbing them with old stories or destructive habits, the ripple effects outward are undeniable: in families, our communities, and the way we move through the world.

The How

We’ll use cognitive, somatic, emotional, relational, and spiritual tools with an emphasis on practices that move you from spending too much time analyzing in your head to being present and feeling what’s actively happening in your body.

These tools could include, but are not limited to:

  • Meditation & Breath Work

  • Internal Family Systems / “Parts” Work

  • Somatic Experiencing Exercises like TRE & EFT Tapping

  • Rewiring Narrative Practices

  • Systems Thinking and the Social Change Ecosystem

  • Sharing Resources like Podcasts, Music, Essays, Books, Articles, Videos, etc.

  • Ancestral Practices like Dream Logging & Interpreting, Natal Astrology, etc.
