Hi, I’m Sahar!
About Me
I’m an Integral Coach, Healer, Writer, Astrologer and Strategist.
I spent my early childhood in the U.A.E. and Oman before moving to New York in September 2000. My intersecting identities as a Muslim, Pakistani-American, immigrant, third culture kid, and neurodivergent cis-woman (she/her/hers) deeply engaged in queer BIPOC communities profoundly shape my approach to coaching. I use a unique blend of Eastern and Western healing modalities that honor our ancestral roots while adapting to the reality of more modern global influences and obligations in the context of work and beyond.
My Background
Philosophy & Approach
My practice is built on a foundation of nurturing support and non-judgmental engagement, enabling clients to feel authentically seen and heard as your full selves without fear or shame. I see each client relationship as the ultimate creative collaboration -you are the artist of your life, and I am here to facilitate much like a producer does. You share your vision for your life, your fears and aspirations, and I offer the space, tools, and inspiration necessary for deep emotional processing and personal reflection. Together, we explore your hidden desires and the perceived obstacles standing in your way, employing psychosomatic strategies that empower you to fearlessly turn your dreams into reality.
With a decade of experience in corporate leadership roles in Marketing & Advertising at PepsiCo and in the Film & TV industry as a Writer and Consultant, I use my insights to support industry leaders, individual contributors, and creatives navigating high-stress environments or looking to pivot into a life that feels more aligned with their values. My approach is tailored to help you find stability within yourself, to quiet your inner critic, and to learn to trust your intuitive wisdom despite external perception and uncertainty.
My background includes significant experience in trauma and anxiety. I work inclusively across all gender expressions and sexual orientations, with a strong commitment to social justice. My practice incorporates a lens of anti-oppression, body liberation, and decolonization, especially when supporting members of BIPOC communities, immigrants, children of immigrants, and multi-racial individuals facing challenges related to identity, racial and sexual trauma, neurodivergence, and interpersonal conflicts.
Expertise & Experience
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology & Creative Writing from New York University. I am currently advancing my skills through a PCC certification program at New Ventures West and hold a certification in Somatic Attachment Therapy from The Embody Lab. With over 10 years of experience in the corporate sector and 5 years as a coach and consultant, I am dedicated to helping artists, creative leaders, entrepreneurs, and those looking to pivot into these spaces to tap into their inner wisdom + creativity to find aligned fulfillment and joy in their lives.
