Hi, I’m Sahar!

About Me

I’m a Coach, Healer, Writer, Astrologer and Strategist.

I spent my early childhood in the U.A.E. and Oman before moving to New York in September 2000. My intersecting identities as a Muslim, Pakistani-American, immigrant, third culture kid, and neurodivergent cis-woman (she/her/hers), deeply engaged in queer BIPOC communities, profoundly shape how I move through the world and how I hold space for others.

Because of this lived experience, I’m especially attuned to what it means to live between worlds — culturally, emotionally, professionally, and internally. My work blends Eastern and Western healing modalities that honor ancestral wisdom while remaining grounded in the realities of modern, globalized life — particularly in the context of work, identity, and transition.

At the heart of my practice is a belief that building self-trust and self-love through intentional introspection is a radical act. It is one of the most meaningful ways we can care for ourselves and contribute to a more healed collective world.

My Background

My Philosophy & Approach

My practice is built on a foundation of warmth, curiosity, and non-judgment. I create a container where clients can bring their full selves — without fear, shame, or the pressure to “have it all figured out.” And even when difficult emotions like fear and shame are present, I’ll guide you on how to work with them to release and then transform them into something lighter.

I often work with people who logically understand what’s bothering them and why, but don’t yet know how to release the feeling in their body or actually feel better. Together, we move beyond insight alone and into embodied change — helping you feel what you already know, metabolize what’s been held, and build new ways of being that are lived, not just understood.

I see each coaching relationship as the ultimate creative collaboration. You are the artist of your life while I act as a producer and guide — helping you clarify your vision, explore what’s getting in the way, and stay with the emotional and somatic processes that lead to real transformation. Using psychosomatic strategies, reflection, and embodied practices, we work toward change that feels sustainable, aligned, and deeply yours.

Who I Work With

I work with women and men at any stage of life — people navigating change, reinvention, grief, burnout, identity shifts, or a quiet knowing that something needs to change or move and hasn’t yet. Many of my clients are redefining themselves after loss, career shifts, breakups, during periods of uncertainty, or at pivotal crossroads where old structures no longer fit.

My work is especially supportive for those who:

  • Feel stuck in survival mode despite “doing everything right”

  • Struggle to regulate emotions even when they understand them intellectually

  • Want to deepen their relationship with their body, intuition, and inner world

  • Are learning how to soften without losing strength

  • Want to pursue their goals with more ease, confidence, and fearlessness

I bring over a decade of experience in corporate leadership roles in Marketing & Advertising at PepsiCo, alongside years working in Film & TV as a writer and consultant. This background allows me to deeply support leaders, creatives, and professionals navigating high-pressure environments, as well as those seeking to pivot toward work and lives that feel more aligned with their values.

My approach integrates somatic and developmental coaching, psychology, generational insight, and creative ritual. I support clients in quieting the inner critic, softening survival patterns, unlearning internalized and systemic conditioning, and learning to trust their own wisdom — especially when external expectations feel loud or disorienting.

I also have experience working with neurodivergence (ADHD) and anxiety. I work inclusively across all gender expressions and sexual orientations and I run a practice with an explicit commitment to social justice. My work is grounded in anti-oppression, body liberation, and decolonization frameworks, particularly when supporting BIPOC communities, immigrants, children of immigrants, multi-racial individuals, LGBTQIA+ folks, and those navigating neurodivergence, identity exploration, and complex relational dynamics.

Expertise & Experience

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology & Creative Writing from New York University. I am currently completing a PCC certification in Integral Coaching through New Ventures West and hold a certification in Somatic Attachment Therapy from The Embody Lab.

With over 10 years of experience in corporate leadership and 5+ years as a coach and consultant, I’m dedicated to helping artists, creative leaders, entrepreneurs, and those in transition reconnect with their bodies, intuition, and inner clarity—so they can build lives rooted in alignment, fulfillment, and genuine joy.
